Weather Watch: No Jan. 31 Activities

We are closely monitoring the next round of winter weather expected this weekend for our area. Based on the forecast and after consulting with local emergency teams, all extra-curricular activities for Saturday, Jan. 31, have been canceled.

Any decision concerning our Monday school schedule will be shared with families no later than Sunday evening through email/text messages, our websites, social media, and local media stations. If you are not receiving our direct messages, please check your contact information in the Parent Portal.

    My name is Levi Karas. I have been teaching at WBHS since 2007. I currently teach World History, American Government, and AP U.S. Government and Politics. I am also the Head Coach of the Boy's Soccer Program and sponsor the school's Academic Bowl Team. I attended University of Georgia (Go Dawgs!) and received a dual bachelor's degree in History and Social Science Education. I later attended Georgia Southern University and received a master's degree in Curriculum and Instruction - Accomplished Teaching. I am obsessed with travel, music (listening and playing), food (eating and cooking), futbol, and anything that makes me laugh.

    Tutoring Hours: I am available any day before school (by appointment) and on Wednesdays and Fridays after school (by appointment).
